- Structural Soil
In this 3 hour workshop you can learn how these innovative techniques reduce impact to stormwater quality and trees. Hear how pervious concrete offers improved filtration and can capture oils and chemical pollutants. Learn how structural soil can be compacted to meet engineering requirements for paved surfaces, while still allowing roots to grow freely, under and away from the pavement, thereby reducing sidewalk heaving.
There will be an optional field trip to Bannister Park in Fair Oaks after the workshop. Transportation not provided.
