The Water Wise Pest Control Program provides residents with information on
safe, effective and practical alternatives for pest control - protect the
health and vitality of Sacramento creeks and rivers and practice healthy pest
control and gardening practices.
Our Water Our World (OWOW) is
an Integrated Pest Management (IPM) collaboration among regional and local
water agencies in Northern California. The OWOW program offers over 20
fact
sheets in English and Spanish of less-toxic pest management strategies
for specific pests. These fact sheets are placed in
retail outlets
that sell pesticides to the public.
